Michelle Sheridan is a USDF Bronze & Silver Medalist and former member of the 2012 Region 3 NAJYRC (now NAYC) Young Rider team. Her other accomplishments include being the 2011 Region 3 4th Level YR Champion, 2011 Region 3 FEI Prix St. Georges YR Reserve Champion, and 2012 Region 3 Intermediate-1 YR Champion. With a Master’s Degree in Veterinary Forensic Science from the University of Florida, her passion for the veterinary aspects of sport horse training play a forthcoming role in the training and rehabilitation programs that she puts together for each animal.
Michelle is happy to work with each student to determine the most appropriate work schedule for their horse and skill level, from weekly lessons to full training. School horses are also available at some facilities.
Throughout her career, Michelle has competed in schooling shows, nationally recognized competitions, and CDI international events and has knowledge of championship and team qualification processes.
Michelle has rehabilitated multiple horses with both common and uncommon injuries. Her passion for veterinary medicine contributes to her understanding of biomechanics and modern rehabilitation methods.
